Golf Links Inc was formed in 1985 to provide golf course design services, construction management and turfgrass and business services to our clients. Jerry Lemons is president and owner of Golf Links Inc. Jerry has been involved with golf course design and construction since 1982. A graduate of Murray State University, Jerry began his career working on the Kidwell Hurdzan Designed course at Murray State University as a golf course superintendent. Jerry’s first solo design came in 1984 when word of his talent reached Princeton Country Club in Kentucky. Jerry’ s redesign of the Perry Maxwell layout was so successful that Old Hickory Country Club in Old Hickory, Tennessee hired Jerry for the redesign. In over 25 years of design work, The company still focuses on building quality golf courses and assisting our past and new clients with the operations of their clubs. Golf Links Inc continues to grow as a respected international design firm, with a reputation for creating “affordable golf.” The firm delivers championship quality golf courses, on budget, that meet the needs of its clients. Two projects, Stone Creek in Carbondale, Illinois and Deer Lakes in Salem, Kentucky were nominated as best new golf course in their respective states. The new Rarity Club with Lee Trevino is destined to be another award winner! Jerry has contributed to numerous golf publications including Golf Course News, Golf Management and Executive Golfer and the USGA Green Section Jerry was elected into the American Society of Golf Course Architect in 2008 Golf Links Inc. is based in Nashville, Tennessee adjacent to the Old Hickory Country Club.
